Counselor-In-Training (CIT)

Ready to become a superstar camp counselor? Join our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Camp and dive into a hands-on leadership adventure! Each week, campers will learn the essentials to leading groups, creating fun activities, designing games and crafts, and managing campers of all ages. They’ll even get first aid training and certification!

CITs put their skills into action every day, gaining real experience helping out in our camps—all while building confidence, teamwork, and memories that last a lifetime. As a highlight of the program, campers will also experience an exciting day at a ropes course facilitated by the UCSD Challenge Course, where they will strengthen communication, problem-solving, and trust in a fun, supportive environment.
